ARGUMENTASI MAKNA JIHAD DALAM AL-QURAN DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF MASYARAKAT KOSMOPOLITAN

Jihad merupakan ajaran hanīf yang dimiliki umat Islam, keberadaannya menjadi sebuah doktrin atau ajaran sendiri ditengah-tengah masyarakat luas, terma jihad telah mengalami penetrasi disegala bidang termasuk kajian keagamaan pun memposisikan jihad sebagai wujud usaha meningkat kualitas beragama berupa implementasi pemikiran keagaamaan dalam konteks keilmuan, peradaban, dan kebudayaan. Dewasa ini terma jihad mengalami distorrsi pemaknaan secara aplikatif, hal ini menjadi sebuah bencana pemikiran keagamaan dikalangan umat Islam. Kejumudan pemikiran dan absolutisme terhadap sebuah gagasan dari kelompok tertentu mengakibatkan dispalitas makna jihad tersebut sehingga mengakibatkan tindakan radikalisme berbasis ajaran jihad. Masyarakat kosmopolitan sebagai masyarakat yang moderat, egaliter, dan berbudaya, mampu menjadi sebuah wacana produktif untuk mengkonsep makna jihad yang proporsional, akomodatif, dan komunikatif dalam segala bidang serta berkontribusi positif untuk memajukan peradaban umat yang majemuk, karena dalam masyarakat kosmopolitan masing-masing anggota komunitas memiliki kemampuan yang tinggi dalam menyikapi perbedaan kontekstual untuk mencukupi kebutuhannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Jihad is a hanīf belonging to the teachings of Islam, its existence became a doctrine or teaching itself among the public at large, term of jihad has experienced penetration in every field including religious studies was positioned as a manifestation of jihad efforts increased the quality of the implementation of the religious thought of religion in the context of scientific knowledge, civilization, and culture. These terma have distorrsi the definition of jihad in applicative, it is becoming a disastrous religious thought among Muslims, rigidity of thought and the absolutism of a notion of certain groups result in dispalitas the meaning of jihad is resulting in acts radicalism based teachings of jihad. A cosmopolitan society as a moderate society, egalitarian, and cultured, capable of being a productive discourse to conceptualize the meaning of jihad is proportional, accommodating, and communicative in all areas as well as to contribute positively to advance civilization of the compounds, as in the cosmopolitan society of each member of the community has a high ability in addressing differences contextual to fullfill his needs in everyday
